McDonald’s Kidathon 2024 returned at the Happy Valley Racecourse on Jun 22, 2024, attracting up to 6,000 participants. It was also announced that McDonald’s Hong Kong successfully raised over HKD13.8 million for the “Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong” in 2023, a remarkable increase of 156.8% compared with that of 2022. The donation will be used to support Ronald McDonald House, which the second house officially started operating in Kwun Tong in November last year, providing shelters to more sick children and their families.

McDonald’s Kidathon has been successfully held for 15 editions, with a total of 72,000 participants and more over the years. As of 2023, more than HKD80 million was raised for RMHC Hong Kong. We will continue to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong and bring hope, joy and resilience to sick children and their families.
